• 1. The Thermostatic valve features 1/2″ NPT connections and equipped 1 water output. The bottom handle knob sets the temperature and the top Push-Button controls water ON/OFF. Neoperl brand FSG push-button On-Off Valve with more than 500,000 times service life. Original French Vernet brand thermostatic cartridge ensure the accurate water temperature you set up.
• 2. cUPC and NSF Certified. Supply Stops – There are two safety stops/check valves at each water inlet to prevent water flow in case of installation and repairs. Handle Operation – The Brass bottom handle is used to control the temperature of water flowing through the outlet. Push the top button to start or close the shower.
• 3. Anti-Scald Ring – Over the temperature control knob, is an anti-scald temperature stop ring which is a safety feature in this thermostatic valve. Covering this ring is the handle knob which has a push-button on the side. In order to adjust the water temperature, one needs to press this button and move the handle to a hot or cold direction. Without pressing it, the user will not be able to rotate the handle to the full hot position – as an anti-scald prevention mechanism.
• 4. Valve Installation – As the valve is installed, care should be taken to maintain a proper distance from the back of the mounting plate to the finished tile which should be between 3.74” and 4.33” inches -Rough In Specification. Also, the value must be installed straight and not at an angle or upside down. Water testing please after the valve installed.
• 5. Cut out dimensions – The cut out in wall should be 4.33” x 5.91” Inches(110x150mm) which is properly covered by the trim plate. This will ensure that the trim plate will cover the cut out hole in the wall (read the Installation Manual please). Trims – The trims comprise of a well-finished cover plate with dimension 4.72” x 7.08” inches(120x180mm) and handle knobs. The trim plate is used to cover the wall.
